PASAR Foundation is providing 15 local youth with a 23-day Wheel Loader Training program, equipping them with skills for PASAR's Mobile Pool Operations. This initiative offers hands-on experience and the chance for future employment, helping bridge skill gaps and create sustainable opportunities in the community.

In April 2024, Simon Dufour, Senior Social Performance Advisor of NACAP Glencore, visited PASAR and PFI projects. The visit allowed him to assess local initiatives, engage with stakeholders, and gain insights into PASAR Foundation’s community development efforts, strengthening coordination to enhance social performance.

PASAR Foundation has teamed up with KEITECH to provide 23 young women from Isabel and Palompon with an 11-month skills training program. This partnership aims to empower women with industry-relevant skills, promoting gender inclusion in traditionally male-dominated fields.

PASAR Foundation has partnered with Isabel and Cantuhawon National High Schools to offer senior high students a 10-day work immersion at PASAR, providing hands-on experience and bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practice.

In March 2024, PASAR Foundation and TESDA held a successful meeting to strengthen skills development programs. Key TESDA officials discussed how to align training initiatives with industry standards, ensuring smooth implementation and effective skills assessments. This collaboration aims to enhance job placement and career opportunities, promoting workforce development and economic empowerment in local communities.
