ABOUT US

PASAR Foundation, Inc. (PFI) was registered in 2004 as a non-stock and non-profit organization with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). PFI is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining (PASAR) Corporation, the only copper smelter and refinery in the Philippines. It operates in the municipalities of Isabel, Palompon, Merida, and Ormoc City in the Province of Leyte.

PFI treats communities as change agent and partners rather than simply receiver of benefits. It recognizes the importance of meaningful partnerships to promote empowerment and self-reliance through shared value undertakings. PFI is apolitical and fully respects equality of gender, race, and religion targeting the poor and the vulnerable to help improve people’s lives.
