Isabel, Leyte — In a significant step towards empowering local women and fostering community development, PASAR Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with KEITECH Educational Foundation, Inc. The partnership paves the way for an 11-month industry-aligned skills training program for 23 young women from the local communities of Isabel and Palompon.
The signing ceremony, held in April this year at KEITECH training center marks a collaborative effort to equip female youth with the technical skills and competencies required to thrive in industrial and professional environments. The program is designed to address the growing demand for skilled labor while promoting gender inclusion in various industries traditionally dominated by men.
Present at the signing were key representatives from PASAR Foundation, KEITECH Educational Foundation, PASAR’s Community Relations and Simon Dufour of NACAP. “This partnership underscores our commitment to building stronger communities by empowering women through education and skills development,” said Ruben Cajigas, Executive Director of PASAR Foundation.
The 11-month training will include both theoretical and hands-on modules tailored to meet industry standards.
