PASAR and TESDA Collaborate to Strengthen Skills Development Programs

A successful coordination meeting between PASAR Foundation and five TESDA provincial officers highlighted collaborative efforts to enhance skills development programs. With Assistant Regional Director and Leyte Provincial Director Vivian Abueva are TESD specialist I Angelica Daza, senior TESD specialist Marites Asistol, associate professor II Mernalyn Montecalbo and TESDA Calubian administrator Gerardo S. Pag-ong. The meeting held in March 2024 discussed how TESDA can support the implementation of PASAR’s training initiatives, particularly in facilitating smooth execution and ensuring trainees' skills assessments are aligned with industry standards. The partnership aims to promote job placement and career advancement opportunities, ultimately improving the lives of local communities. This cooperation reflects a shared commitment to workforce development and economic empowerment through strategic skills training.
