Engr. Angelica Teves and Engr. Ellanie Castillano, women scholars from PASAR Foundation, recently passed the Mechanical Licensure Exam, breaking barriers in engineering. Supported by PFI and their sponsors, their achievement highlights the importance of empowering women in STEM.

PASAR Foundation celebrated academic excellence on September 3, 2022, during the 2022 Scholars Day, honoring 48 scholars and recognizing achievers from the previous year. The event featured inspiring speeches, including one from Mrs. Isabella Van Schalkwyk, and highlighted the support of 20 sponsors. Scholars received vouchers, bags, and tokens as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

On August 17, 2022, PASAR Foundation and seven PTTP trainees joined the Department of Education's "Brigada Eskwela" program at Isabel National High School. With the theme "Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik Aral," PFI staff and volunteers helped prepare and clean the school to ensure a safe learning environment. This initiative reflects PASAR's commitment to community support and strengthens its partnerships with local stakeholders.

Three PASAR Foundation scholars—Angelica Teves, Elanie Castillano, and Lovelyn Bregildo—overcame immense challenges to graduate despite the struggles brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Teves and Castillano, both Mechanical Engineering graduates, and Bregildo, a Cum Laude graduate in Education, shared how the foundation's support helped them through financial difficulties and the disruptions caused by the pandemic. Grateful for the scholarships and mentorship, they emphasized the importance of community support in overcoming obstacles and reaching their academic goals. Their journeys show that determination, even in tough times, leads to success.

PASAR Foundation, in partnership with several organizations, distributed over 1,200 relief packs to Typhoon Odette victims in Southern Leyte on December 29, 2021, and January 7, 2022. The packs, filled with essentials, were delivered to multiple barangays, with a third wave of aid planned. Grateful families expressed their thanks to the donors and volunteers.
