PASAR Foundation celebrates academic excellence during 2022 Scholars Day

PFI conducted the 2022 Scholars Day last September 3, 2022, at LLCI Gymnasium, which was attended by the 48 scholars with their parents/guardian, 2 former scholars, sponsors, school coordinators, PFI staff and the wife of the General Manager of PASAR Corp, Mrs. Isabella Van Schalkwyk.

The 48 scholars are composed of 14 males and 34 females. There are 3 elementary scholars, 37 high school and 8 college scholars. The 2022 Scholars Day was conducted to award the scholarship to 48 students for SY 2022-2023, recognize scholar achievers for the academic year 2021-2022, and orient them on the changes in the scholarship guidelines.

Mrs. Isabella Van Schalkwyk shared her thoughts and wisdom about the value of education. Mrs. Fiona Madeleine Cubico, one of the sponsors, shared her reasons for sponsoring. Two former scholars narrated their journey towards completing their respective degrees. Ms. Aiza Decipulo, parent of scholar Rian Triesha Decipulo, expressed her thoughts and gratitude for the scholarship program.

The event was also conducted to recognize the support of the 20 sponsors of the scholars who helped them to achieve their dreams – to finish their education. This gathering deepened the relationships between scholars and sponsors, paving the way for bigger achievements in the future. The event ended with the distribution of the voucher allowance, bags (made by PASAR Isabel Sewer Association – PISA) and other small tokens.
