Breaking Barriers: Two Women Scholars from PFI Ace the Mechanical Licensure Exam

Engr. Angelica Teves and Engr. Ellanie Castillano, two women scholars of PASAR Foundation Incorporated (PFI), have recently passed the Mechanical Licensure Examination, an impressive feat for both of them. Their achievement not only proves their hard work and dedication but also highlights the importance of empowering women in male-dominated fields.

Both Engr. Teves and Engr. Castillano are grateful for the support they received from PFI, which covered their tuition fees, allowances, and other expenses throughout their college years. However, they also acknowledge the role of their sponsors in helping them succeed. The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) Isabel Chapter and Seapine Shipping Corporation, sponsors of Engr. Teves and Engr. Castillano respectively, since their college days provided them with financial assistance and mentorship opportunities. These sponsors believed in their potential and invested in their education and future.
