In January 2024, 13 Barangay Water Consumers Associations signed a 2-year agreement with PFI, resuming monthly water subsidies for over 4,000 households in Ormoc, Merida, and Isabel. This subsidy, temporarily paused in 2023 for compliance updates, provides essential clean water to communities along the LIDE pipeline, supporting health and sanitation.

In January 2024, PASAR Foundation was honored as a key partner in Isabel’s education, recognized for supporting local schools and advancing programs like Indigenous People's Education (IPEd). In January 2024, 20 youths successfully completed the 25-day Dump Truck Operators Training under PASAR Foundation's CBTHEO program. All participants passed the skills assessment, paving the way for them to become new contractual dump truck operators at PASAR. This initiative highlights the Foundation's commitment to workforce development and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities in local communities.

On January 8, 2024, 24 VOSKTRAP trainees started skills training at KEITECH Leyte, with 16 from Isabel. The program focuses on pipefitting and welding, offering both training and on-the-job experience at PASAR. VOSKTRAP helps reduce unemployment and provides equal opportunities, especially for women in male-dominated fields.
