PASAR and PASAR Foundation Incorporated turned over the new radio station booth to Binog Elementary School on March 30, 2021 at Binog Elementary School. A project under COVID-19 Response Program, Project REACH or Radio-based Educational Activities for Children at Home is a radio-based instruction to broadcast recorded lessons for elementary and secondary students to bridge the gap among pupils, parents, and teachers under the blended learning approach. The radio broadcast covers 10 elementary schools and 3 highschools that airs different learning episodes. This project is an innovation proposal of Mr. Marlon James Muyano, School Head of Binog Elementary School with the support of Isabel II District Management and approved by DepEd Leyte Division. PASAR Foundation Incorporated co-funded the said project to help the school put up its own on-site radio booth and to get its own radio frequency modulation for broadcast.
This project is pursuant to DepEd order on the Adoption of Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) for S.Y. 2020-2021. Selected teachers from Isabel II schools from elementary and secondary had a Training Workshop on Radio Script Writing and Broadcasting for the project.
