PFI Supports Feeding Program for 353 Children in Baybay City

In August 2023, the PASAR Foundation Inc. (PFI) contributed to a meaningful feeding initiative in two areas of Baybay City, benefiting 353 children. This program was made possible through the donation of congee mix from the Jollibee Group Foundation and toys from the Ronald McDonald House Charities, bringing nourishment and joy to the young beneficiaries.

The feeding activity was spearheaded by Sister Jacqueline Clemencio from the Order of St. Francis and friends from the Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception of Baybay City. With their dedication, the children received warm, nutritious meals, helping to improve their health and well-being. The donated toys also brought smiles and excitement, adding to the overall impact of the initiative.

“We are grateful for the generosity of our partners and the efforts of the Franciscan sisters in making this program a success,” said Ruben Cajigas of PASAR Foundation. “Providing nutritious food and small tokens of happiness is a simple yet meaningful way to support the well-being of children in our communities.”

Parents and community members expressed their appreciation for the initiative, recognizing its importance in addressing food security among children. “This activity is a big help to families who struggle to provide daily nutritious meals,” shared one of the parents.
