PASAR Foundation Scholars Shine in Area Schools Press Conference

PASAR Foundation proudly congratulates its six high school scholars who excelled in various journalism contests during the Area Schools Press Conference held in Palompon, Leyte, in February 2024. The event brought together participants from secondary schools across Palompon, Isabel, Merida, Albuera, and Matag-ob. Among the winners, Janrick Nodalo of Matlang National High School (MNHS) claimed Best in Technicalities for Radio Broadcasting in English, while Jehoney Mendoze, a junior high school scholar from MNHS, secured 2nd place in News Writing (Filipino). Dwight Rean Cabonegro, also of MNHS, won Best News Presenter for Radio Broadcasting in English, and Shella Camugao earned first place in Photojournalism. From Isabel National Comprehensive School (INCS), Venice Granada and her team received awards for Best TV Newscast and Best Script (Filipino), while Beatriz Uminga and her team clinched the top spot in Radio Broadcasting in Filipino. PASAR Foundation celebrates their achievements, which highlight the talents and dedication of these future media professionals. They will all participate in the Division Schools Press Conference in March 2024.
