PASAR Foundation Conducts Major Repair on Donated Classroom in Honan Elementary School

Isabel, Leyte – The PASAR Foundation has initiated a major repair project on a classroom donated by the PASAR Foundation Inc. (PFI) in October 2023, originally funded by CTI of Australia. The ongoing renovation aims to ensure a safer and more conducive learning environment for the elementary pupils of Honan Elementary School.

The repair work includes structural reinforcements, improved ventilation, and essential refurbishments to enhance the overall functionality of the classroom. This initiative aligns with PASAR Foundation’s commitment to supporting education and fostering a nurturing space for young learners.

“This classroom has served many students over the years, and with this repair, we are ensuring that future generations will continue to benefit from it,” said Ruben Cajigas of PASAR Foundation. “Education is a priority, and we are committed to making learning spaces safer and more comfortable.”

Teachers, students, and parents have expressed their gratitude for the ongoing efforts, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on the school community. “A safe and well-maintained classroom makes a big difference in our children’s learning experience,” shared Mr. Jose T. Mayor, the school head.

The PASAR Foundation, in collaboration with its partners, continues to work towards sustainable education initiatives that contribute to the well-being of students and the community at large. The classroom repair is expected to be completed soon, providing an improved learning environment for the young minds of Honan Elementary School.
