Scholars of PASAR Foundation came together in a solemn thanksgiving mass at Holy Child Church on July 24 to celebrate the successful completion of the 2023-2024 school year. The mass was attended by scholars and foundation staff who expressed gratitude for the opportunities and support received throughout the academic year. The scholars offered prayers of thanks for their achievements and sought guidance for the upcoming school year, hoping for continued success and blessings in 2024-2025.
Following the spiritual gathering, the scholars participated in a self-discovery activity on July 25, 2024 at IMO beach resort in Merida, Leyte designed to foster personal growth, camaraderie, and teamwork. Resource persons in the self-discovery activity are superintendent of Employee Experience Design Raymund Luclucan and Advisor on Leadership and Culture, EED - PASAR Charlynne Faye Magno. PFI also invited Ms. Marimer V. Senefrota of City College of Ormoc City who shared valuable inputs and experiences on mental health awareness. Through engaging exercises and interactive discussions, they explored their strengths, aspirations, and values while also strengthening their bonds with fellow scholars. The initiative aimed to boost confidence, improve communication skills, and create a supportive learning community as they embark on a new academic journey. The event set a positive tone for the school year ahead, inspiring scholars to embrace challenges with renewed motivation and enthusiasm.
