Barangay Water Subsidy Program

When the water supply system was constructed 1980’s through a loan from JICA, part of the condition was to provide limited water subsidy to 14,000 families living along the water pipeline from the water source in Ormoc to LIDE Isabel to help the families access safe and clean drinking water.  Under the new scheme of the water subsidy program, PASAR thru PFI provides water subsidy upto a maximum of 5 cubic meters per month for every qualified member-consumers.  Any consumption beyond the 5 cubic meters will be for the account of the member-consumer.

In 2022, a total of 223,954 cubic meters of clean potable water valued at P4.03M was availed by 4,845 households used for food, hygiene, and sanitation purposes.
